How to Participate
There are many ways for your business or organization to participate.
- 1. We invite you to incorporate the Centennial theme in all of your activities for 2010. For example, your business could decide to purchase and wear the Centennial t-shirt every Friday in 2010. Your church could hold an old-fashioned picnic and let old-timers share their stories. Your club could sponsor a service project to help with the Museum. We hope you will come up with creative ways to show your community spirit and pride in Lindsay.
- 2. We invite you to volunteer your help on Centennial Weekend, Feb. 27-28. There are many ways to hep and participate.
Please call 562-7114 if you would like to volunteer, or want more information. Don't be surprised if someone calls you. - 3. List your Centennial events or activities on the official website, lindsaycentennial.com. Call 562-7114 with your information to be listed and me sure to check out the website often.
- 4. Send photographs of the centennial themed events or efforts by your business or organization to the Lindsay Cultural Arts Council for inclusion in the Commemorative book. The book is being planned for the late Fall 2010 so that it can include pictures and stories from our year of celebration and our current residents, as well as our history. The address is P.O. Box 223, Lindsay, CA 93247.
- 5. Offer your Financial support by purchasing our t-shirts and other memorabilia, ordering your copy of the book, and contributing to Museum fundraisers, as well as generously supporting Centennial events.
